Imran Khan has been declared guilty in the case of concealing revenue earned from the sale of state gifts. This case is locally known as the Toshakhana case.

He has been sentenced to three years in prison and a fine of PKR one lac. Imran’s lawyer said they have already filed an appeal against the decision.

Imran Khan is among the greatest all-rounders cricket has ever witnessed. He is also the only captain to win a 50-over World Cup for Pakistan. He averaged 37 with the bat and 22 with the bowl in test cricket, making him one of the greats.

Toshakhana- what is it?

Toshakhana is the real reason why Imran is Behind Bars. Toshakhana is the storeroom for the gifts received by public officials. According to the rules, every public official has to report how many gifts and what gifts they received in the Tosha Khana.

However, Imran Khan was accused of hiding this information from the Tosha Khana and has been declared guilty now.

His fan’s reaction to his arrest in May was fierce. The reaction was fierce enough that the government had to interfere. It was called Pakistan’s 9/11 by the minister for planning and development.

The government even tried to capture Imran twice but failed due to the resistance of his political workers.
