Can Oscar Piastri Redeem Himself
It was a tough outing for Oscar Piastri on his home turf in Australia. It was a great start for him as he started in front of the grid just behind his teammate Lando Norris and was constantly putting pressure on him throughout the race. In the later stage of the race, his car spun off on the grass and remained there for a lap.
Later Piastri got back on track and although the podium dream faded but still managed to score points. Now as the F1 moves to China for the second round of the championship and with McLaren yet to unleash the car’s potential in dry conditions Oscar has the opportunity to exploit the car and join the top oder in Driver’s championship.
Another opportunity for Rookies in the Chinese GP
Last Sunday’s race proved a baptism of fire for all Rokkies baring Kimi Antenoelli. Isac Hadjar spun on frrmation lap. Jack Doohan was not able to race for a lap and crashed. Liam Lawson and Gabriel Borteleto were unable to finish. This weekend being dry provides a second chance for the rookies to prove themselves.
Can Ferrari Perform According to their true potential?
Before the Australian GP, all eyes were on Ferrari due to Hamilton’s debut and in general Fearri’s car rated high just behind Mclaren but Melbourne’s wet conditions weren’t favorable and both drivers finished on P8 and P10. Lewis Hamilton was struggling to adjust to the car and new race engineer.
Ferrari has recently struggled in wet races so the Chinese GP will show where they are in the pecking order in dry races or normal conditions.
First Sprint Race of the season
The Chinese Grand Prix weekend promises to be action-packed, featuring the first sprint race of the season. Unlike a traditional race weekend, FP2 and FP3 are replaced with sprint qualifying and the sprint race itself—a shorter, high-intensity showdown. With points awarded to the top eight finishers, the sprint format adds an extra layer of excitement to the weekend.
Bold Predictions Ahead of Chinese GP
- Oscar Piastri wins the Sprint race.
- McLaren finishes a 1-2 normal race with Lando Norris winning.
- Both William Drivers finish in points.
- Lewis Hamilton’s struggle continues.
- Aston Martin and Sauber finish below their standings in Australia.
