The 2023 inaugural Pakistan Football Federation PFF National Futsal Cup recently concluded on June 4th, after an exciting week-long event that showcased the incredible talent of futsal players from across Punjab. This prestigious competition was hosted at the SA Gardens in Lahore and drew in a large number of fans and enthusiasts.

Throughout the event, 24 teams from various regions across Punjab competed in a thrilling display of skill and athleticism. These teams were divided into six groups, each vying for the opportunity to advance to the next stage of the competition. To secure a position in the next round, each team had to engage in three intense matches, requiring a great deal of determination and perseverance.

In the first match of Group E, Smurfs F.C displayed an impressive performance, defeating Outlaws F.C with a remarkable 5-0 victory. ABL dominated the second encounter, scoring an impressive 7-1 against YZC. Smurfs F.C. continued their winning streak in the third match, outplaying ABL with a 7-2 score. Meanwhile, Outlaws F.C. demonstrated their determination by securing a 6-1 win against YZC. Smurfs F.C. continued their momentum in their third game, overpowering YZC with a commanding 10-4 result. The final match of Group E between ABL and Outlaws concluded in a hard-fought 1-1 draw. Ultimately, Smurfs F.C and ABL F.C emerged as the triumphant teams, securing their place in the next round.

Group F Showdown

Group F of the PFF national futsal cup showcased intense competition among the participating teams, with each match delivering captivating clashes and impressive performances. ICAW FC proved their dominance in the first match, securing an astounding 9-0 victory against Taji F.C. Real Lahore demonstrated their skills and determination in the following match, emerging victorious with a 6-3 win against LSA. The match between ICAW and Real Lahore ended in a goalless draw, highlighting both teams’ defensive prowess. After losing their first match, LSA bounced back with an impressive 13-0 thrashing of Taji FC and continued their winning streak by defeating ICAW with a score of 2-0. The final game of Group F saw Real Lahore secure a convincing 9-3 victory against Taji FC, cementing their spot in the next round alongside LSA.

SA Gardens And MRF Crowned Champions!
