Lahore: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is currently seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) to enable the Pakistan women’s football team to participate in a friendly match against Saudi Arabia, sources report.
Due to limited time, PFF submitted its NOC request to PSB as quickly as possible. According to sources, PSB has asked PFF to complete all required documentation before issuing the NOC.
Saudi Arabia’s Football Federation invited PFF on October 28 for a friendly match scheduled in Qatar on December 7. However, PFF officials shared that the unexpected timing of this invitation has made it difficult to meet all PSB requirements at short notice.
A PFF spokesperson told Sports Side that they are working closely with PSB to secure approval and make this high-profile match a reality.
