A fight of fury and fuel at the sin city. Las Vegas GP 2023 was unarguably one of the best races of the season. The results of the race panned out exactly the same way as everyone expected. With a powerful DRS zone on the circuit, there was some thrilling overtaking all along the race.
It was a breath-taking battle between Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. Eventually, Max came out on top, in America’s City of Lights.
Verstappen’s Conquest to the Pole position
Max Verstappen led the race at the start, despite Charles Leclerc starting from the pole position at Nevada. But after being handed a 5-second time penalty for forcing his rival off the track, Leclerc regained the lead. The Dutchman lit up the race in the final lap, as he took past his teammate and Ferrari’s lead to post an amazing win at Las Vegas GP 2023.
Leclerc’s Brilliant Run at the Circuit
Leclerc was continuously showing signs of brilliance in the race. He went into the race a little bit longer before changing his tires. Other drivers cautiously made the pit stops while the safety car took to the circuit.
In the decisive restart of the race, Leclerc clinched the lead from Sergio Perez, as his tyres wore out. But Verstappen was too good in the end, so Ferrari’s Driver had to settle for second place.

The Race Stories
Las Vegas GP suffered two interruptions due to crashes. The first clash included Lando Norris, which was a heavy one at 180 mph, during lap 3. The second one included Max Verstappen and George Russell. Norris was immediately taken to the hospital for precautionary check-ups.
