Is there a twist in the tail today we will be discussing which nation will be hosting the upcoming mega event. Reports have started to emerge that hosting of the 2025 Champions trophy will be given to other nation apparently this news broke out from and was quoted from Indian channel News 18. It was said that Pakistan Cricket Board will be given compensation for being removed as the hosting nation of champions trophy 2025 in order to prevent itself from losses.
What would it mean to Pakistan cricket?
This certainly would not have good impact on Pakistan’s cricket as PCB has been trying so hard to have Pakistan’s cricket on home soil after a long hiatus of 8/9 years for the arrival of cricket on the home soil with the likes of Australia, England, and New Zealand now arriving to play in Pakistan. With these things looking bright ahead but with the hosting chances of Champions Trophy 2023 being denied, it will be a huge blow to their arrival.

Nation to host Champions Trophy 2025:
According to reports the hosting will be awarded to WI and USA for the Champions Trophy 2025. Keeping in mind that WI and USA were to host the T20 world cup 2024 but this was not possible as some officials of the USA cricket board there was lack of infrastructure and they would not have been able to host the world cup to be held in 2024 so keeping this in mind USA and West Indies will be given hosting as this will also give them one year more to build the infrastructure required to carry out the event.
