Uloomi Karim, Pakistan’s ace boxer, is set to miss his fight against Indian opponent, Himanshu Kaushik. The fight was set to take place in Dubai over the weekend. The sudden withdrawal from Karim comes on the basis of missing the required weight by 5 kilos.
How it was supposed to happen?
Karim and Kaushik were supposed to fight in Karate Combat 45 in Dubai. The Karate Combat 45 is a full-contact Karate League featuring boxing events in all weight categories. Both the opponents were set to face each other in the bantamweight category.
Uloomi’s miss would be a great shock to Pakistan’s chances at the KC45 event. Before this incident, Pakistani boxers had a chance to clean sweep the main categories.

Faizan Khan Saddozai has been called on a zero-day notice for the India fight. He’ll be taking on the Indian Boxer, Himanshu Kaushik. Faizan Khan, the professional MMA fighter from the team Pakistan, is also known as “The Grenade”.
How will it go down?
Indeed, the fight won’t be one-sided, as the case was in the presence of Karim. But, it will be interesting to watch Faizan Khan fight in Uloomi Karim’s absence. He surely will make a big impact if he manages to beat Himanshu. Hopefully, team Pakistan will be victorious at this year’s Karate Combat 45 – 2024.
