Expansion Of Pakistan Super League In 2026: Which Are The Two Teams Which Are Been Included?

PCB has induced a confirmation plan for the expansion of the Pakistan Super League by adding two new teams in the session of 2026, which will be held from approximately 7 April to mid-May. This window changed, and matches will be held in the UK rather than the UAE. It’s a more cost-effective option. Due to the reasonably hot temperatures in Lahore during April and May, matches would be conducted in the UK.

Pending Confirmation of Expansion PSL:

The expansion confirmation was cleared on Friday, and according to this, eight teams would be in the upcoming 2026 session. This expansion was pending due to the refusal of the PCB and PSL franchises to add more teams before the completion of the 10th session. Only one addition from the past, like Multan Sultan, was added in 2018. So, the lease of a ten-year ownership agreement would expire in 2026.
