The final training camp for the Pakistan Street Child Football Team, in preparation for the Global Youth Football Cup “Norway Cup 2024”, will commence in Islamabad.

The training camp will be held at the Islamabad Sports Complex from July 21 to July 25, during which the squad for the Norway Cup 2024 will be finalized. The national team will depart for Norway on July 25 to participate in the event.
The final squad for the national team for the Norway Cup will be selected during the training camp. The national street child football team will depart for Oslo, Norway on July 25.
Prior to this, the management of the Pakistan Street Child Football Team conducted trials across the country last month for the Norway Cup, which saw the participation of thousands of young athletes.

The Norway Cup will be held from July 27 to August 3 in Oslo, Norway. The Pakistan Street Child Team will be participating in the mega event for the fifth time. The national team secured second place in the Norway Cup 2015, third place in 2016, and second place again in 2023.
Teams from 26 countries are participating in the Norway Cup. It is noteworthy that the Pakistan Street Child Football Team remained unbeaten in last year’s Norway Cup.
In 2022, at the Street Child Football World Cup held in Doha, Qatar, the national team remained unbeaten in the group matches. However, they faced a 3-4 defeat against Egypt in the decisive match. It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan team was the runner-up in the Street Child Football World Cup 2018 held in Russia and secured third place in the 2014 tournament held in Brazil.
