Shadab Khan and Ahmad Shahzad reject worthy league contracts for the National T20 Cup

Players choose the National T20 Cup over leagues:

Ahmad Shahzad and Shadab Khan recently made big decisions in their cricket careers. They chose to focus on playing for Pakistan’s National T20 Cup instead of going for well-paying contracts in international leagues. This is happening at a time when cricket leagues are becoming more popular.

Shadab Khan rejected the BBL contract:

Shadab Khan, who is known for being good at both batting and bowling, said no to a good offer from the Adelaide Strikers to play in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL). He said,

“I want to give more importance to playing cricket in Pakistan. Right now, local matches are happening in Pakistan, and I cannot play in the Big Bash and T10 League because I want to be part of the National T20 Cup.”

This decision shows how committed these players are to helping their local teams succeed.
