In addition to hosting Cambodia for the 1st Round Leg 2, and defeating them at our home ground, they were also hosts to Tajikistan. In spite of the below-average performance against the Tajik team, a large number of fans, nearly 22500+, attended this match against Tajikistan.

This huge audience generated a large income for PFF which was reportedly estimated to be about 9 million. This shows a huge amount of potential.

As hosts, Pakistan has been praised a lot by the touring teams. Despite being a poorly ranked side and mediocre board, PFF managed to host two better-ranked teams in a span of the last two or three months. This is a huge feat in itself.
